Dennis Clarke 82, of Cumberland passed away peacefully at home on April 19, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was a loving husband to his wife of 27 years, Maria (Cordeiro) Clarke.

Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Frederick and Kathleen (Ryan) Clarke Sr. He resided in Cumberland for the past 58 years.

Mr. Clarke was a United States Army Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War.

He was a career truck driver for P.I.E. and a member of Teamsters Local 251, before retiring.

He had many interests including the New England Patriots, Coca-Cola, but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Besides his beloved wife, he leaves his two daughters, Christine Crocker and her husband Joseph, Roberta Crawford, and her husband Paul, two granddaughters, Rebecca, and Rachel Savoie, all from Cumberland, and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Kathleen Gordon, Frederick Clarke Jr. and Ronald Clarke.

Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours at the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Ave., Lincoln, RI on Monday, April 22 from 4pm-7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, April 23 at 11am at Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 1081 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence. Burial will follow at Mount Saint Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, Rhode Island Chapter, 245 Waterman St #306, Providence, RI 02906. https://www.alz.org/ri
